By using MyLawyerPal, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. MyLawyerPal enables law firms to manage cases, clients, finances, team operations, and related legal practice management functions.

When you sign in using Google OAuth authentication through Auth0, we collect:

- Your Google account profile picture URL
- Your Google account unique identifier
- OAuth tokens necessary for authentication (managed securely by Auth0)

We collect information you provide when creating and managing your MyLawyerPal account:
- Full name and contact information
- Law firm name and business information
- Professional credentials and license information
- Office addresses and contact details
- Subscription and billing information

As a practice management system, MyLawyerPal stores data related to your law firm's operations:

4. Google OAuth Integration
MyLawyerPal uses Google OAuth authentication services provided through Auth0. When you choose to sign in with Google:
- You will be redirected to Google's authentication service
- Google will ask for your permission to share certain profile information with MyLawyerPal
- We receive only the information you authorize Google to share
- Google OAuth tokens are securely managed by Auth0 and are not stored directly by MyLawyerPal
- You can revoke Google's access to your account at any time through your Google account settings
4.1 Google Sign-In Scopes
When you use Google Sign-In, we request access only to basic profile scopes necessary for authentication, including your email address, name, profile picture, and unique Google account identifier (typically via the openid, email, and profile scopes). We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, or other Google services unless explicitly disclosed and authorized for a specific feature.
4.2 Limited Use of Google User Data
MyLawyerPal's use of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing and improving user-facing features that are prominent in the application's user interface. We use Google user data only to:
- Authenticate your identity and create or manage your MyLawyerPal account
- Display your name and profile picture within the Service
- Communicate with you about your account and the Service
- Maintain the security and integrity of the Service
We do not use Google user data to:
- Serve advertisements, including retargeting or personalized advertising
- Sell Google user data to third parties, data brokers, or information resellers
- Determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes
- Build unrelated user profile databases
- Any purpose unrelated to providing or improving MyLawyerPal's authentication and account features
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4.3 Revoking Access and Deleting Google Data
You may revoke MyLawyerPal's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions page. You may also request deletion of data associated with your account by contacting us using the information in Section 13. Upon a verified request, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information or Google user data to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration.
